Positive: Host was very accommodative to our request for early check-in. The check-in instruction was faultless. Also, host was very responsive to all our inquiries.
Negative: The apartment facilities (unfortunate these happened during our stay): 1. Faulty washing machine. Host informed us of this issue on the day of check-in. We were disappointed as we had a 3-nights stay where laundry is a necessity before going on our cruise. Host did not offer laundry alternatives. 2. Noisy air-conditioning condenser. If the thermostat is set below 72F, it will very loud noise. Did not have good night sleep for 3 nights either from the noise and from the heat of Vancouver. Host did offer to have someone look into it, but we preferred our privacy during our stay especially when we were out and about during the day. 3. Limited coffee capsules and creamer provided, insufficient for a long stay.
Summary: Other than the above unpleasant in-apartment facilities, everything else was awesome.

Positive: It was a wonderful stay and a beautiful cozy room. Great location, close to lots of bars and restaraunts and overall very good experience!
Negative: There was a loud buzzing from the central air unit, im not sure if it needs repair. Otherwise it was lovely!

Positive: Great safe location, just set back from one of the main streets. Lovely view from 18th floor of apartment building. Easy to walk to the waterfront to pick up tours and local train system. Easy walk to catch ferry to Granville Island. Close to local supermarket.
Negative: Due to the proximity of other buildings the curtains needed closed for privacy but they were not easy to close. I was worried that they may get damaged in the process. Would be good if the owner had a wee look at fixing them.
Summary: Very enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Negative: We didn’t like the all online check in and no actual host on site. What the place really lacked, which all AirBnb’s universally have, was a folder with instructions and also recommendations for restaurants, local bars, etc. We were confronted with 4 remotes, for example, and had no idea how to turn the TV on or off. The WiFi network in the online instructions was listed incorrectly, and we just had to figure it out. When leaving, the elevator timed out on us, and we exited via the lobby instead, for which the key fob was not needed. A pleasant stay all in all, but we will look for a different place next time.
